A Gift of Energy

Uncategorized No Comments »

“When attack becomes dance, everything is seen as a present of energy.”

That sounds nice, does not it?

Couldn’t we tend to all use a very little additional energy occasionally? I apprehend I could. Right now, for example, as I sit with a blanket over my shoulders, sipping lemon tea and hoping that the subsequent coughing spasm isn’t as ferocious because the last 2, I might use a gift of energy. The tickle that started in my nose and chest some days ago has blossomed into a full-blown, body-wracking cold, complete with chills and fever.

The martial art Aikido (The Way of Harmony) teaches us to see everything that comes our method as energy to be danced with. By centering and lengthening our ki (life energy) we have a tendency to connect and blend with the energy of attack, creating it a part of us. We have a tendency to redirect it from center, keeping ourselves and our attacker safe from harm.

How this elegant metaphor applies to things in our personal and skilled lives could be a continuing source of study and fascination for me. One among the ways I work at integrating Aiki principles into my life is by sharing the philosophy with others. My workshops use physical exercises that help our bodies remember how to do things like center, extend, acknowledge and blend. We tend to begin to bop, flow and move with the energy of conflict rather than blocking it.

Thus I sit, wondering how I will dance with this attack. Even centering doesn’t stop the incessant coughing. I’ve got no ki to increase (it appears to own retreated to the innermost recesses of my system). The only factor I can assume to try to to is to acknowledge and embrace.

However that, a minimum of, may be a beginning. In years past, I wouldn’t acknowledge being sick. When I was sick, I might usually go to work anyway. I plowed through what needed doing with [*fr1] a spirit and wore myself out. I probably infected 0.5 a dozen others in the process. I was generally ill-tempered, depressed and depressing to be around. If I am unable to acknowledge what is occurring, whether or not it is a cold or a drawback at home, I surely cannot embrace it. By this I mean make it a half of me, connect with it thus that I can begin to look for solutions.

Most of our conflicts, internal or external, would resolve themselves if we would only take this 1st step - acknowledge them! But as a result of we have a tendency to see them as negative, we immediately resist by fighting or fleeing. If I can see what comes my manner as energy, with no positive or negative charge different than what I give it, I will be additional interested by it. As unwanted because it might be, there is definitely more power in dancing with it than in resisting it.

As for my cold, I am still attempting to learn if there is a gift here somewhere. Let’s have a look at - I’ve already browse a book I have been putting aside for months, started another, and gotten some much required rest (in between coughs!). I may not invariably grasp what the energy offers, but once I will ask the question “Where’s the gift?” I’ve taken a step in a new direction.

Words To Encourage When Low

Uncategorized No Comments »

Someone once said to me that friendships are established the moment when someone says ‘wow that happened to me too….’

There are so many things that we experience in life and half the time we feel alone in those experiences. Talking to the people around you may help and you feel much better about letting it all out. Although it would be nicer to talk to someone who has at least been through an experience like yours rather than talk with just anyone.

You will also be able to find some of the best encouragement words from one of these: encouragement letter christian encouragement words of encouragement for death in family

It is always good to get words of encouragement from someone who has been through what you are going through because they understand how it feels like to be in your shoes. Talking to someone who has never been in your shoes will likely get you the clichéd response that things are going to e fine

Besides giving you words of encouragement someone who has been through what you’ve been through will give you practical advice. I recall one time after learning this concept I approached a friend of mine in a similar position as me for a shoulder to cry on. believe it or not it was more than tea that we ended up sharing, we managed a few good laughs and I wasn’t so worried anymore

Psychologists, counseling and all that is all very professional I agree but sometimes you just need something real, something that you can relate too. You need to talk to someone who will be at ease with you rather than quote you passages from a text book. Natural and meaningful words said at the right time are more than uplifting.

You are able to look at your situation objectively and come up with possible solutions. The problem may still be there but now you have solution, a direction that you can take and be able to move on. Ultimately no matter how painful an experience maybe you must be able to get up and carry on with your life.

Asian Skin Wants Anti-Ageing Facilitate and Protection

Panic Attacks No Comments »

Asian skin can suffer from specific problems that can’t be addressed using regular beauty trade moisturisers and facial products.  Asian skin is

thicker than white skin and can be leathery in appearance.  This means it wants richer, deeper penetrating creams.  The ideal

moisturiser for Asian skin should contain a high Sun Protection Factor (SPF) to stop further darkening of skin colour, and

antioxidants for cover against harmful free radicals and pollution.

Younger Asian girls in particular wish their skin to seem lighter and blemish free with even skin tone.  In this quest for an

ivory complexion, many Asian ladies have used potentially harmful skin peels, or taken expensive tablets that claim to work from

within, to lighten the skin.  Sadly several of these products contain harsh ingredients, and will

turn out uneven lightweight-and-dark patches over the face and body.  I don’t want the next generation to risk

harming their skin in this approach, and I’ve got researched the safest skin lighteners available.  Kojic acid is the active ingredient in the newest safe skin lightener.  It helps lighten skin colour by inhibiting the assembly of melanin that causes skin darkening and age spots.  The skin takes

between 4-8 weeks to renew its layers, so throughout that time the new lighter skin cells come back through and the whole complexion can look fresher and brighter.

Dark patches around the eyes are a problem for a heap of Asian women, and they usually seem across the

forehead and cheeks.  This is often typically a consequence of pregnancy or hormonal changes at the menopause. These blemishes will be

unpleasant, and several girls would like to induce rid of them while not using harmful chemicals or undergoing

cosmetic surgery.   The skin around the eyes is much finer than the rest of the face, and can’t absorb a traditional face

cream. If we tend to compare the thickness of skin on the various parts of our body to paper, the delicate eye space

would be like tissue paper, the face like writing paper, and also the neck like wrapping paper.  A skin treatment cream for this delicate area needs the proper consistency for absorption around the eyes, otherwise puffiness and swelling can be created worse.  A delicate skin bleaching ingredient

such as kojic acid can be used in a watch treatment cream, to scale back the looks of dark eye

circles.

Sun damage is also a significant hazard for Asian skin – not solely making it darker, but conjointly

inflicting blemishes and scarring.  There are safe skin treatments designed to forestall or repair sun harm, at any age by using vitamins A and E with

antioxidants.  This mixture will facilitate to boost the skin’s immune system and will cut back the looks of

existing blemishes by rushing up tissue repair.  Lypozomes are another vital ingredient, as they help fade brown spots by changing the speed

of skin cell clustering, and leave the skin trying younger and clearer.

Using these skin care ingredients is not vanity – they’re a very important protection for healthy skin in today’s

environment.  When shopping for cream for Asian skin, you should raise which active ingredients it contains, and whether the

products have been tested to native safety standards.  In the UK this means they must be tested in

accordance with Department of Trade & Trade needs, to make sure safety and effectiveness.  Most people will

conjointly need to test {that the} merchandise have not been tested on animals.
